JAPAN:

Saturday, September 23rd, seven "ICA Associates" and Shizuyo lead a grand presentation about ICA Japan's work with more than 25 communities in Chiapas Mexico, on women's and children's 3S's (self-esteem, self-awareness, self-responsibility) project.? The project involves self-esteem training, ToP training, vocational training for the women, and young children's care.

After great questions were answered and a tea break, they lead workshops introducing the ORID conversation method, and a consensus workshop asking the group of 70 people about how they felt about contributing to individual's development.? Finally, Wayne presented the 2008 study preparation and conference, and a short slide show about the recent Asian IAF event in Singapore.? Everyone enjoyed, and received an ICA Japan brochure and a 2008 conference brochure.

About 30 inspired people celebrated at a nearby restaurant for nearly three hours!? Included in this celebration was the chairman of the board of the 800 member FAJ.? The outcome may be fine Japanese interest and support for our 2008 "Awakening the Human Dimension of Society" conference.? What a hugh success for all involved!
