ICA ASSOCIATES INC. (Canada)

Location: Canada

Bill Staples, Staci Kentish and Miriam Patterson completed the final focus group work with OISEl, U of T's Faculty of Education. Jo Nelson and Duncan Holmes facilitated a plenary session to identify OISE's Underlying Contradictions and Strategic Directions. The next stages in this process will involve action planning, and, very possibly implementation reviews and executive coaching.

Jo Nelson completed the last community consultation with the James Bay Cree of 2010.  There is one remaining community to visit in January to complete this round of consultations. The teram completed a preliminary report for the Grand Chief and Council. The project has had Jo Nelson on a full time retainer. When that contract expires at the end of January, it is likely we will be involved in the next stage of the larger governance project.

Duncan Holmes facilitated a workshop in British Colombia.

John Miller continued work with Toronto's DiverseCity program.

The ICA-Peru team closed out its year this week and is looking forward to a most exciting and rewarding 2011.  We've closed down the office for these two weeks for some quality family time, and we wish the best to all our colleagues around the world as we approach the joys and challenges of 2011.

Happy New Year!
