PERU:

Location: Lima and the Sierra

The Implementation team of Jesusa Aburto and Alex Borja were on the road this week in the high Sierra of La Libertad and Cajamarca in the north.  While they were there, they did an appointment with another company which is planning an Avanza Peru 3-week leadership formation school for the communities of their workers.  The objective of these programs is to make the communities more self sufficient and stable, and they have been remarkable successful in enabling the residents to take responsibility for their own communities.

Meanwhile the team in Lima submitted reports of previous programs and received payments, moved the contracting forward on four new programs, and Pedro Aburto single handedly tackled some further renovations of the Azpitia Training Center.
