BANGLADESH:

Location: Dhaka

Dhaka ICA has been working on the 3rd issue of its official newsletter to be published by June 2007. Editors already contacted with the printing company and collected the quotation. Other national ICAs and ICAI can give some ideas and short write ups for the forthcoming issue.

On 8th June the next board meeting will be held with some important agenda. Dhaka ICA's foreign donation registration formalities is not at the end of the process. Due to bureaucratic redtapism its being delayed.

PERU:

Location: 100 Valleys Project

The 4-day ToP training -- called PEP in Spanish -- is sold out for 4 June and there is a lot of momentum for next month.  This week completed about 30 interviews with NGOs and public agencies and found that funding is high on their list of concerns.  Therefore the staff designed a new one-day course to introduce the ToP methods as a key to INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT which is the new buzz-word in project funding.  The first course is 19 June and we feel assured that it will be an instant success and an excellent way to introduce the other NGO to ToP methods to do comprehensive planning for their projects.
